Winning Kids.ca is the result of a collaboration of 12 regional Children’s Aid Societies (CAS) and Family & Children’s Services (FCS) in Eastern Ontario, developed with the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Our 12 agencies are mandated by the Ministry of Child and Youth Services for the protection of children in our regions, and to provide a safe and caring environment for children and youth who enter the care of the Child Welfare System. Many of these children will return to live with their families. However, some remain in care, while others are placed in permanent adoptive families. Whatever the plan, each child in our care needs to live in an accepting, safe and nurturing environment.
This website provides you with easy access to information about fostering and adoption in our region. Our mission is to develop skilled families who provide parenting that meets the needs of the children and youth in our care. We encourage you to learn more about our organizations and our children.
